The search is on for the winner of a huge £60,145.90 EuroMillions prize which has gone unclaimed in Belfast for over two weeks.

One lucky person bought a ticket in the city for the 17 November draw and matched the five main numbers and no Lucky Stars.

UTV reports they still haven’t picked up their winnings and the National Lottery is keen to track them down.

“We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life,” a National Lottery spokesperson said.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a EuroMillions ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags, and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune!”
