Belfast’s most crafty venue, The National Grande Café has created the perfect food and beer pairing menu for a memorable night which will include a guest speaker and entertainment.

Taking place Thursday June 23, Belfast’s leading venue known for its fantastic drinks selection (and beer garden!) will host their first annual Craft Beer and Food pairing night.

Kicking off from 7.30pm, the £35 fee includes a background on the art of craft food and drink production in Northern Ireland, as well as an inside into the small batch brewing of three beers using traditional methods.

Craft Beers

The beers will include Rowlock Pale Ale, Tidefall and Fulcrum which are all from the ClearSky brewing family.

Beer Garden

The night will end with a local live band taking centre stage in The National’s back garden from 9pm.

The National’s Head Chef, Saul O’Reilly will showcase the best of local with his carefully created menu which includes, Braised Pork, Ox Cheeks and locally sourced cheeses as the final pairing course.

He has picked flavour notes in the beer that complement the flavour notes in each delicious dish.
