Michelin Star cuisine will meet the world’s best cocktails when OX restaurant opens a pop-up restaurant in New York in partnership with The Dead Rabbit bar.

To showcase Northern Ireland’s Year of Food & Drink the collaboration will allow guests to sample the best of Belfast in the Big Apple.

Award-winning restaurant OX was named as one of the top 50 restaurants in the world in 2015 while New York bar The Dead Rabbit has won the World’s Best Bar award twice and also has the titles of providing the World’s Best Cocktails.

It’s a combination made in Belfast as The Dead Rabbit is run by Belfast men Sean Muldoon and Jack McGarry.

The special pop-up event will be hosted the in The Dead Rabbit’s sister business, Pier A Harbor House on September 28.

A five-course feast is being prepared by OX’s chef Stephen Toman and will be paired with cocktails created by The Dead Rabbit’s Beverage Director and Bar Manager Jillian Vose.

Sean Muldoon said he was looking forward to the collaboration between the two businesses while Stephen Toman said it was an honour to be involved.

Tickets for the event are $200 and can be purchased in advance online.
