To mark the 150th anniversary of ‘Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland’, Victoria Square has magically transformed into a wonderland of its own making it the ultimate family destination this summer.

Saturday August 1 saw the official launch of this month-long interactive exhibition where guests and their families enjoyed a wonderful breakfast hosted at Frankie & Benny’s with special guests, Alice, The Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts, before taking a first look at all there is on offer.

The exhibition which includes a 6ft maze, croquet, a Mad Hatter’s tea party and lots more, is free and is live for the whole month of August.

Travel on an interactive adventure through the centre; starting in the rabbit hole in the iconic dome with book swapping and storytelling, past the magic mirrors, onto the Mad Hatter’s tea party and through the rose garden to colour-in and play croquet.

For those curious enough to enter, there will be a 6ft high maze with only one way in and one way out!

Visitors can also take part in a treasure hunt, weaving around the life-size props, to find clues and get help from the Alice in Wonderland characters.

Take a trip on the magical moving stairs to Level 2 where you will find a garden full of giant games and tiny toys for everyone to enjoy.

We also have a sensory zone for any kids who like things to be a little less noisy! In the Queen’s Quiet Quarters you will find all sorts of sensory toys and things to entertain supported by Learning Space and Autism NI

Don’t miss out on our FREE Kids’ activities! We have craft workshops and face painting every Saturday and storytelling in the dome every Sunday… if you’re lucky you might even get to meet Alice!
