Fashion lovers are rejoicing today, as the leading Spanish retailer, Stradivarius, has finally opened its doors in Belfast!
Having opened late this morning, the vibrant new shop was positively buzzing when belfastvibe went to explore.
Here’s six things you need to know about Stradivarius – in case you haven’t been before!
1. New To Northern Ireland
The much anticipated new store in Belfast may be the first of its kind in Northern Ireland, but Stradivarius is a seriously highly renowned fashion brand – particularly across Europe.
In fact, since it was founded in Barcelona in 1994, the fashion chain has grown into a fashion empire, with a staggering 950 stores present in 60 different countries, including the UK and Republic of Ireland.
2. Sister Sister
Stradivarius is the sister of popular high-street giant and fellow Spanish brand Zara, who are both owned by the Inditex group, the world’s largest apparel retailer.
3. It’s Seriously Massive
Stradivarius has definitely launched with a bang in Belfast, situated in the massive former Barratts shop in Belfast’s bustling Donegall Place.
Wrapping the corner and taking up a vast amount of the surrounding streets, it boasts two vast entrances, huge changing rooms, and loads of room for amazing clothes, shoes and handbags! And we’re definitely not complaining.
4. Budget Friendly
Despite offering some of the most amazing, high quality fashion items, Stradivarius is extremely budget friendly.
In fact, you can pick up a basic top from around £5.99, whilst these amazingly soft, on-trend coats (perfect for our Northern Irish weather!) are only £29.99! And these high heels – ideal for both work or play – were just £19.99 and came in an assortment of colours. Talk about wardrobe staples!
And with such a cheerful purse & accessories selection, Stradivarius is definitely our future go-to shop for presents.
Indeed, Stradivarius is much closer to the price range of H&M than its sister shop, Zara. But the quality has remained high, and the style is seriously on trend.
Unsurprisingly, the most often uttered phrase we heard today was: “I can’t believe how cheap this place is!”
5. Flawless Fashion
Belfast’s first Stradivarius store boasts everything you could ever dream of, from wardrobe staples such as undergarments and leggings, to jumpsuits, playsuits, gorgeous dresses and bomber jackets. It also has a seriously amazing accessories selection, with fun purses, makeup bags, pins, and of course jewellery – to name just a few!
6. Edgy Style
Famed for its edgy style, we weren’t surprised that this year’s fashion highlights had been given a funky, Stradivarius twist. And we loved the vast array of Choker Necklaces – guaranteed to take any outfit to another level. And for just £7.99 for 5 – you won’t exactly need to raid the piggy bank!
Finally, an affordable, accessible yet seriously on trend, flawless new fashion store has arrived in Belfast!
