Rather than spend thousands on a package holiday to somewhere where you have to use odd-shaped plugs and speak in a different language, there are a host of options closer to home for a break. Just remember you have to call it a staycation because those are the rules.

If you live in Belfast you might find it hard to fork out for a bed when you’ve got a perfectly good one 10 minutes up the road. But this is a good shout for a stag or hen weekend as the more people you have in your group the cheaper the prices become.
