Have you ever wanted to brush up on cookery skills or kick start a DIY project, but don’t know where to begin?
Belfast Met has the solution for you this summer as the college is offering short term courses in a range of skills across all of its campuses including digital animation, sommelier skills, personal training and many more.
Short term courses are a fantastic opportunity for people that are interested in learning new skills or want to master their technique from previous experience and meet people that share the same interests.
Some courses last as little as two days to hone a hobby such as DJ Summer School or art masterclasses in ceramics, which can lead the way to branching out in a new career direction or impress friends and family.
One of the many courses that Belfast Met offers in its summer curriculum is DIY workshops in either plumbing, plastering/tiling, bricklaying and joinery, which offer a diverse range of possibilities for participants as it helps people take small projects into their own hands and save money on household repairs.
These courses do not require any previous qualifications and are available by enrolling at Millfield, Titanic Quarter or Castlereagh campus. Fees apply for all courses. For more information please check the Belfast Met website on www.belfastmet.ac.uk or call 028 9026 5000.
