Today is the first day of summer. Not that you’d know to look out the window, worse still, step outside and brave the wind, rain and persistent greyness.
The Met Office has issued a weather warning for strong winds of up to 60mph for Northern Ireland on Monday.
Some disruption to transport is likely and there will be large waves on south and west facing coasts.
The yellow weather warning comes into effect at 4pm today.
But better news is around the corner.
Later in the week a heatwave is being predicted for many parts of the UK with temperatures expected to reach well above 20C.
We’ll believe it when we see it!
