As we celebrate the return of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher to Star Wars it got us thinking about our favourite scenes.

For those, who live in the dark ages, Ford plays Han Solo, Hamill is Luke Skywalker and Fisher is Princess Leia Organa.

They are back on the big screen in Star Wars: The Force Awakens this Christmas.

So we are asking you what your favourite scenes from Stars Wars are. Here’s the top 6 so far.

1. Princess Leia

Davy Greer said: “Every red blooded boys favourite scene….oohhhhh gold bikini”.

2. Storm Trooper armour

Glen Benson said: “The armour is strong enough to protect from bashes to the head from heavy metal doors but not from teddy bear attacks”.

3. Judge me by my size

Jim McComish said: “I love all the scenes but my fave is where Luke Skywalker can’t get the x-wing out of the swamp (bit like my life really) and Yoda says “size matters not …. Judge me by my size do u?” (Of course we do how could u possibly NOT notice he’s an imp) …My ally is the force etc” then he says “try not DO or do not there is no try” then he uses the force and he does it and shows Luke up lol nice mystical powerful scene.
“Close second is where the baby Ewoks battle against the empire in the depths of the forest (because this reminds me of the music scene – all the little men fighting against the big bad machines).”

4. The trashy bit

My fellow belfastvibe writer Graeme Cousins said: “Favourite scene is when Han, Luke, Leia and Chewy are stuck in the trash compactor and the walls start to close in.
“When I saw it I wasn’t old enough to know that heroes never die in Hollywood films. I was genuinely fearful for them.
“It’s a proper double whammy because not only were the walls closing in, but there was a monster trying to pull them under the water.
“Every time I see it I return to my childhood and I’m convinced they’re not going to make it this time. As an added bonus Han and Luke are both in Stormtrooper gear.”

5. The force

Bill Turner simply posted us the video…he obviously thinks it speaks for itself.

6. The final word

Aaron Hughes said: “The end…sums it all up really.”
