Over 10,000 people are expected to descend upon the Belfast City Blues Festival next month.
The seventh annual festival launched today at The Hudson Bar in Belfast.
Taking place from June 26-28 the event is sponsored by USA Holiday and Cruise Specialists American Holidays, who are also giving away a fantastic holiday to Memphis and Nashville with U105, the broadcast partner for the festival.
Acts already lined up for this year’s festival include everyone from Pat McManus, Eastisde Blues, Rab McCullough, Lee Hedley Band, Acoustic Soul and Ken Haddock among many more.
Seamie O’Neill, Festival Director said: “Last year the Belfast City Blues Festival attracted over 10,500 people from across Europe and I’m confident that this year is going to be a roaring success, with Blues legends such as Pat McManus and Rab McCullough performing in over 16 venues across the city.
“This festival, the only one of its kind in Belfast, helps to keep the Belfast Blues heritage alive and also gives a platform for the younger generation to perform.”
Karen Sheals Hoy, Manager of American Holidays is proud to sponsor the festival added: “Everyone at American Holidays is excited about the forthcoming festival and we’re proud to be the main sponsor again.
“This sponsorship is a great ‘fit’ for our brand and I’m sure our holiday prize to Nashville and Memphis will be particularly popular.”
