The Northern Ireland hard rock and heavy metal scene has been burgeoning recently, and this weekend sees another bumper crop of gigs.
Among the many delights metal crew Sinocence will be launching their new EP No Gods, No Masters Vol2 in Limelight2.
Helping them let loose this behemoth of a release are four other acts ranging from, rock ‘n’ rollers Gasoline Outlaw, budding thrashers Donum Dei, 80s rock par excellence Maverick, and NWOBHM inspired Conjuring Fate.
Doors open at 4pm and all for a measly fee of £5.
Before that finishes at 9pm many will have made the odyssey to the legendary Diamond Rock Club in Ahoghill – to be joined by a few hardy souls rushing for the p:20 train.
At the Diamond the 80s rockers The Quireboys will be playing the last date on their Unplugged Tour, with Northern Ireland’s Keith Weir tinkling the ivories for Spike and crew. Support comes from local rock ‘supergroup’ Lo Mejor.
