BBC NI’s student drama 6Degrees returns for its third and final season this month.

The series catches up with the lives of Conor (Cillian O’Sullivan), Sandie (Jayne Wisener), Leech (Ryan McParland), Eva (Jamie Lee O’Donnell), Carly (Lauren Ellis Steele) and introduces new character Liam (Dermot Murphy) as they prepare themselves for the end of their time at university.

With their finals just six weeks away and the ‘real world’ fast approaching the students are dealing with family problems, new bosses, lecturers and lovers old and new. With their lives more complicated than ever, it’s time to confront their problems head on, but who will make it through and who will fall at the final hurdle and will these six students, brought together by six degrees become lifelong friends, or lifelong enemies.

The six part series continues to give opportunities to local writers Bronágh Taggart and Vanessa Pope who were joined for the final series by Daniel Cullen.

6Degrees begins on BBC One Northern Ireland on Wednesday, March 25 at 10.45pm. It is made by Stirling Television with support from Northern Ireland Screen.
