Music fans at this year’s Belsonic got into the festival spirit, with a little helping hand from Absolut Vodka.

Absolut, official drinks partner of Belsonic 2015, created a range of interactive activities on site at Custom House Square, helping festival goers to express their creative side during the run of seven successful shows in August.

The centrepiece of the brand’s activity – the Absolut Inspiration Board – featured five large Absolut bottle shaped blackboards.  The five bottles that made up the installation compelled people to express their inspirations by colouring, drawing or writing on the bottle of their choice in bold neon UV markers, creating a piece of Absolut art.

The interactive installation proved extremely popular, attracting approximately 1,500 people each night. Absolut UV face painters also helped brighten up the crowds as darkness descended, creating a sea of neon.

Sarah Harvey, Brand Manager for Absolut at Dillon Bass said: “We are proud to partner with Belsonic once again as official drinks partner. We wanted to create interactive activity on site that would add to the festival experience and allow music fans to unleash their creativity and get into the true spirit of Belsonic.

Now in its eight year, Belsonic continues to go from strength to strength. This year’s seven night run included headline shows from Rudimental, Paloma Faith, Stereophonics, Hozier, Above and Beyond, Bastille and All Time Low, with an estimated 38,000 people attending the shows at Custom House Square.

Festival organiser Alan Simms from Belsonic said: “We’re thrilled to be back for another run of successful Belsonic concerts at Custom House Square, and I would take this opportunity to thank our official drinks partners at Dillon Bass & Absolut.”
