Dance music icons The Prodigy are headed for Belfast on December 1.

Famed for their massive rock/dance crossover hit Firestarter in 1996 The Prodigy are one of only a few acts to top the charts and cross blatantly among the genres.

Fronted by the wacky Keith Flint the electronic music band was formed in 1990 by member Liam Howlett. Keith and Liam will be joined on stage in Belfast by Leo Crabtree, Rob Holliday and Maxim.

The band released Wild Frontier as the second single off their upcoming album The Day Is My Enemy in February and will be playing a mix of new and old favourites.

The Prodigy will be joined in Belfast by special guests Public Enemy.

Tickets for The Prodigy at the Odyssey Arena on December 1, go on sale this Friday at 9.30am from Ticketmaster.co.uk and the Odyssey Arena box-office.
