Do you have the X Factor? Auditions for the ITV talent show are coming to Belfast in April where you will have your chance at reaching stardom.

If so it’s time to put your vocals to the test as X Factor auditions are coming to Belfast.

As part of their nationwide tour, the X Factor team will be at Belfast’s Victoria Square Shopping Centre on Monday, April 18, from 10am-6pm.

There is no need to register or apply in advance, just come along to the centre and bring a form of ID.

Cheryl and Nick

Anyone aged under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The X Factor is seeing a shake up in its format this year and is set to get new judges after Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini left their roles.

Popular host Dermot O’Leary returns this year replacing Olly Murs and Caroline Flack and the room auditions also make a welcome return to the format. He confirmed in March that he is returning “home” to the show, a year after he left the ITV talent series.

Those unable to attend the mobile auditions can still apply online via X Factor website.

Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and have a valid ID whilst under 16s in full time education will only be allowed to audition after 4.30pm.

It comes after West Belfast teen and viral sensation Nadine Megaw was contacted by talents reps of the show in March. The 19-year-old expressed her delight this week after receiving a phone call from the X Factor telling her she had made it through to the next stage of audition process.

“Can’t believe the phone-call I just received…

“Excited to tell everyone that I’m through the first round of the X Factor auditions after them hearing all of my online stuff and liking what they heard!

“Off to Dublin at the end of April for another round! I’m so happy right now I could literally cry.

“Hopefully this is a starting point for me! Also thank you to everyone that’s wished me well the last number of weeks! I really appreciate it.”

Overall, we look set to be cheering Nadine on from our sofas very soon – we reckon she could do Belfast proud and go all the way!
