Are you ready for super style to arrive at Belfast Comic Con next month?
After welcoming Chris Barrie, Robert Llewellyn and Hattie Hayridge last year the folks at the biggest modern pop culture event have secured Red Dwarf star Danny John-Jules for MCM Belfast Comic Con on Saturday May 2.
Having appeared in all ten series of the much-loved sci-fi sitcom, Danny is a firm fan favourite for his inimitable portrayal of the super-stylish Cat – as well as his geeky alter ego Duane Dibbley.
Also appearing in Belfast will be Adventure Time star Hynden Walch, who plays Princess Bubblegum on the smash hit Cartoon Network show.
As well as starring as Adventure Times’ pink-themed, scientifically-inclined princess, top voice actor Hynden Walch’s cartoon credits include Starfire in Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!, Harley Quinn in The Batman and Batman: Assault on Arkham, and Princess Python in Avengers Assemble.
Also confirmed is actor John Noble, best known for his starring roles in Sleepy Hollow (Henry Parrish), Fringe (Dr Walter Bishop) and Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King (Denethor).
The Australian actor currently plays sin-eater Henry Parrish – aka Jeremy Crane and War, the second of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse – on hit supernatural show Sleepy Hollow.
EastEnders stars Shane Richie and Jessie Wallace will also be appearing. They are best known for playing on-screen husband and wife Alfie and Kat in the long-running BBC soap.
Following on from last year’s event this year will see thousands of sci-fi, comic, movies, games and cosplay fans descend on the city.
A weekend pass for MCM Belfast Comic Con costs £20 but day tickets are also available. For more information log onto www.mcmexpostore.com
