Mathematical! Adventure Time star Hynden Walch, who plays Princess Bubblegum on the smash hit Cartoon Network show, is the latest special guest to be revealed for May’s MCM Belfast Comic Con.

As well as starring as Adventure Times’ pink-themed, scientifically-inclined princess, top voice actor Hynden Walch’s cartoon credits include Starfire in Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go!, Harley Quinn in The Batman and Batman: Assault on Arkham, and Princess Python in Avengers Assemble.

Meanwhile, anime fans will recognise Hynden in Isao Takahata’s recent Academy Award-nominated movie The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya.

She is also the voice of Nia in acclaimed studio Gainax series Gurren Lagann, Yutaka in Lucky Star and Emiri Kimidori in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Also confirmed is actor John Noble, best known for his starring roles in Sleepy Hollow (Henry Parrish), Fringe (Dr Walter Bishop) and Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King (Denethor).

The Australian actor currently plays sin-eater Henry Parrish – aka Jeremy Crane and War, the second of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse – on hit supernatural show Sleepy Hollow.

EastEnders stars Shane Richie and Jessie Wallace will also be appearing. They are best known for playing on-screen husband and wife Alfie and Kat in the long-running BBC soap.

Following on from last year’s event this year will see thousands of sci-fi, comic, movies, games and cosplay fans descend on the city.
