A house in Astoria, Oregon has been closed to visitors after the owner got fed up having thousands of people call by every day.

The building, is best known as the site where Chunk was made to do the ‘Truffle Shuffle’ in Richard Donner’s cult film from 1985, The Goonies.

The house was still attracting 1,500 visitors a day, according to city officials, more than 30 years after it was made.

Having reached the end of her tether with 30-somethings trying to rekindle their youth she’s now covered the property in blue tarpaulin and put a sign in front of it telling people to leave the premises.

The same 30-somethings have now made a bee-line for Chicago to find the remains of the Ferrari Ferris Bueller drove on his day off.
