A full scale riot is being organised for June 20 in Belfast, but no one seems that concerned.
To celebrate its 30th birthday Belfast Community Circus are staging an attempt to break a world record for fighting this month.
They need more than 1,000 people to take part in a custard pie fight on Saturday June 20 at 6pm in Custom House Square in order to break the Guinness World Record for the Biggest Pie Fight.
It costs £2.50 to take part and you’ll be supplied with at least two custard pies (made of shaving foam) to throw, a plastic poncho to keep your clothes clean, a Belfast Circus wristband and, all being well, 999 other people to throw your pies at.
Because this is an official Guinness World Record attempt, you will need to register online here and pay £2.50 to cover part of our costs.
As well as the Pie Fight, Belfast Community Circus are providing 45 performances free of charge in Cathedral Quarter that same weekend.
