Widely regarded as the ‘one to watch’ on the local comedy scene, Shane Todd presents a brand new eight-part series on BBC Radio Ulster.

The Shane Todd Show begins on Tuesday October 4 at 10.10pm.

Each week’s show will include a short, topical monologue in which Shane recaps on the ups and downs of the past seven days, as well as sketches recorded with other comic talent. And Shane’s comic creation Mike McGoldrick will be recording celebrity interviews for the show.

There will also be contributions from new voices, other young comedians and musicians from across Northern Ireland.

Holywood-born Shane said: “I’m really looking forward to plenty of laughs on Tuesday nights. We’ll have sketches, music and interviews as well as stand-up performances especially recorded for the show.”

Series producer Owen McFadden added: “Shane is a great comic talent and we are delighted that he will be part of the BBC Radio Ulster schedule.”
