Two ladies from County Armagh have proved to be a star turn with a series of viral videos sending up “typical Irish women”.
Rozlyn Sheridan from Newry and Teresa McBride from Silverbridge have teamed up to create a series of hilarious comedy duos including the farmers’ wives, the Winebulance drivers and the Irish mammies.
The Winebulance drivers have proved to be their biggest hit as they arrive in their modified ice cream van to ‘re-wine’ the women of Northern Ireland. The following video has had 48K views and counting since it was posted on Facebook last week…
Rozlyn said: “We started our page (Know It All with Nuala and Noeleen) only 10 weeks ago and the response has been brilliant! We had started to save some of our snap chat videos and family and friends encouraged us to create a page. And that was the start of it!
“It’s good, clean comedy about typical Irish women. We have a few different characters – Veronica and Vera, the farmers wives, Minnie and Winnie, the Winebulance drivers, Nuala and Noleen with the snap chat filters, the yummy mummies and the Irish mammies.”
Rozlyn, who runs a stage school and Teresa, who teaches performing arts in the Southern Regional College, have been performing together for years.
The dynamic duo are currently writing their own stage show and hope to tour Ireland with it. Rumours that they’ll be using the Winembulance in lieu of a tour bus are unconfirmed.
In the meantime here’s another of their viral videos of the farmers’ wives getting their kids ready for the new school term…
