This year will see some amazing comedy acts coming to two of Belfast’s greatest venues, with the Cool FM Comedy Club delivering 10 unrivalled stand-up gigs.

We’ve put together a list so you can check out the seriously top drawer comedy magic coming to the stages of Belfast Waterfront and the Ulster Hall over the coming months.

1. Ross Noble

Friday, October 14 – Ulster Hall

Hailed by Time Out as ‘The supreme master of spontaneous stand-up,’ Ross Noble brings his super quick freewheeling style and highly imaginative flights of fancy to Belfast this October.

As always, Ross will have loads of stuff backing up in his head and it’s time to let it all out!

Sean Lock Keeps It Light at the Waterfront this October. Every three years Sean writes and tours a new stand-up show. Well he’s only gone and done it again! Discover why The Times describes him as ‘gloriously intelligent, deliciously unlikely and hilariously funny.’

Friday, October 28 – Waterfront

Jimeoin has added this extra Cool FM Comedy Club Waterfront date due to phenomenal demand! Hailed by the Independent as delivering ‘Comedy of the highest order,’ the Irishman from Australia musters his ever-evolving live show and the most famous eyebrows in comedy to bring you an unforgettably hilarious evening of world-class stand-up!

4. The Comedy Club

Saturday, October 29 – Ulster Hall

The Comedy Squad Live brings you six of Northern Ireland’s premier stand-up comedians, all on the same bill! This exclusive night of no-holds barred comedy features: Micky Bartlett, Colin Geddis, Ciarán Bartlett, Aaron McCann, Ruairi Woods and Dave Elliott.

6. Nina Conti

Friday, November 11 – Ulster Hall

Nina Conti gets In Your Face at the Ulster Hall on Friday 11 November. Expect the unexpected as Nina – with the help of Monkey and a bag of tricks – improvises her way through this adventure of hilarious witchery… all without moving her lips!

7. Adam Hills

Sunday, November 20

Adam Hills reveals his Clown Heart on Sunday November 20. Adam’s combination of positive, uplifting comedy and rampant spontaneity has won him countless awards and turned him into one of the UK’s most popular comedians! ‘…stand-up so effortlessly brilliant you wonder why some comedians even get out of bed,” according to The Guardian.

8. Romesh Ranganathan

Sunday, November 27 – Waterfront

The Guardian acclaims Romesh Ranganathan’s ‘ability to produce bitingly fresh gags…’’ His Waterfront show on Sunday 27 November will see him explore the issues close to his heart… and explain why everybody else is wrong about them!

9. Jason Byrne

Sunday, December 11 – Ulster Hall

Jason Byrne will be Propped Up at the Ulster Hall, and his brand new show features even more silly props and humour than before. That means more giant ducks, more rubber hands, owls, big wooden pegs and more amazing magic stunts!
