If you love books, whether in digital or in print then clear out your diary in June because the Belfast Book Festival is back.
Running from June 8-14 organisers are promising an “even bigger” lineup of events this year.
Based at the Crescent Arts Centre, the week-long festival also offers events across the city in a variety of venues.
Organisers say this year they are aiming to “bring to life all the energy and passion that Belfast has for books and writers”.
Featuring both international and homegrown local talent across a wide range of topics in the literary world the event promises to “entertain everyone no matter what genre you like”.
From politics/current affairs, sport and sci-fi to Irish literary fiction, music and travel…the list goes on.
For poetry lovers, the annual poetry slam returns along with performances by many talented poets throughout the week.
Also back is the Literary Lunchtime events as well as the Family Fun Day for the junior book worms.
