This year’s West Coast Cooler Belfast Fashion Week’s chicest event – Sushi Saturday The Director’s Cut was a hit with fashionistas throughout the city.

Returning to Shiro fashion lovers were given the chance to enjoy fashion from Excel Clothing as well as Asian fusion, with platters of sushi and delicious West Coast Cooler cocktails.

Director Cathy Martin chose a “best-of” collection from Excel Clothing and from designers and retailers taking part in all shows and, along with stylist (and Cool FM presenter) Rebecca McKinney, talked the enthusiastic audience through the looks as Belfast Fashion Week models worked the room at Shiro.

The celebration into the evening to a full house on Bruce St, at BFW HQ. Belfast’s best dressed ladies and gents gathered for the final of the Spring/Summer catwalk shows and observed the hottest trends of the season, from the nation’s biggest and busiest High-Street stores including Next, Marks and Spencer, Warehouse, Remus Uomo, Excel Clothing, Warehouse, Oasis and DV8 Fashion.

On show were the latest collections from Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge, Exhibit, Gap, Miss Glam, New Look, Blue Inc, Burton, NV, Quiz, Jacamo, Evans, Designers at Debenhams, Taking Shape and Simply Be from CastleCourt, as they took to the runway to dazzle the crowd with fashion that’s fun, affordable and available right now. And not forgetting the fantastic range of discounted high street lines from The OUTLET in Banbridge including Next clearance, L.K. Bennett, Olsen and Staccato among others.
