The Crown Liquor Salon will be aiming to establish itself as Belfast’s number one gin palace when it launches a two-month long festival dedicated that most famous of tipples that makes us sin.

GinFest 2016 runs from July 7 until August 20 in the historic Belfast bar owned by Nicholsons Pubs.

At the gin festival they’ll be showcasing 31 premium versions of the spirit, along with gin infused cocktails, masterclasses, free daily giveaways and a secret gin party to bring the celebrations to a close.

New gins on offer will include Death’s Door – one of the leading craft gins from America, Little Bird – a grapefruit gin from Peckham, London and Monkey 47 – a gin made in Germany’s Black Forest using a complex set of 47 different botanicals.

With such a great selection it’s tough to know where to start, but the Crown have whittled it down to their top six…
