Kestrel Foods is bringing the authentic taste of global street food to NI homes after securing a £130,000 deal with Tesco Northern Ireland for its new range of fruit and nut snacks.

The latest innovation from the Portadown-based company – the Forest Feast Street Food range – was inspired by the sights, sounds and spices of the world’s street food ‘hot spots’.

The range promises to transport consumers to far off countries, whether the smoky barbeque pits of the American Deep South or the idyllic tropical beaches of Thailand.

The 150g bags of mixed nuts and fruits are available in-store, perfect for mid-morning and afternoon grazing, especially for those trying to stick to healthy new year’s resolutions.  The nuts are oven roasted and seasoned, using Kestrel Foods’ own unique blends, in its state of the art roasting facility in Portadown.

The deal comes on the back of company-wide success in 2015 within domestic and international markets, thanks to major investment into its production facilities, a targeted growth strategy and an ongoing commitment to innovation.
