Nando’s, home of legendary flame-grilled Peri-Peri chicken, introduces its appetising new menu set to launch in restaurants from May 17.

Taking centre stage is the Nando’s Fino Platter, a first for the popular chicken restaurant.

It’s the ideal sharing platter for two, featuring a whole flame-grilled spatchcock Peri-Peri chicken served with a colourful and fresh range of five sides including Sweet Potato Wedges, Fino coleslaw, Supergrain side including grains, greens and beans, drizzled with an avocado buttermilk dressing.

Also included is a side of Chargrilled Veg and Peri-buttered corn and a half-chargrilled lemon to squeeze on the chicken.

Supergrain Salad offers a fresh mix of grains, greens and beans including wheat berry, freekah, edamame, cannellini, quinoa, green beans, barley and kale, with avocado chunks and an avocado buttermilk dressing on mixed salad leaves. Served with or without a Peri-Peri chicken.

Peri-Peri Chocolate and Salted Caramel Brownies are two new tasty additions to the dessert menu.

For those with a sweet tooth comes the new Salted Caramel Brownie, made from rich chocolate with the delicious taste of salted caramel.

That’s in addition to the new Peri-Peri Chocolate Brownie – created with a touch of Nando’s signature Peri-Peri African Birds Eye Chilli, for that little extra kick!

Vinho Spritzers are Nando’s special take on sangria… Lighter than a bottle of wine, these carafes are the perfect sharing drinks for a group. Choose from:

White: Crisp Cara Viva White wine spritzed with lemonade, freshly sliced lemon, lime and a sprig of cool mint.

Rosé: Summer Fruit Cara Viva Rose wine, spritzed with lemonade, raspberries, sliced lime and cool mint leaves.

Red: Cara Viva Red wine spritzed with lemonade, fresh raspberries, orange slices and a cinnamon stick.

There is also a delicious new Peri-Pomegranate Dressing (see what they did there?!) – a sweet and tangy blend with just a hint of chilli.

It all sounds rather perfect to us!
