This baby chameleon is making quite the impression in an Australian zoo, but as he mature visitors can expect to see a lot less of him.

He might by tiny (small enough to sit on the end of a pencil) and bright green now, but as he gets older he’ll get much bigger and develop the ability to blend with his surroundings.

Taronga Zoo has welcomed more than 20 Veiled Chameleon hatchlings, with the last of three clutches of eggs hatching this week.

The hatchlings are the first born at the zoo in over five years.
