A talented Northern Irish singer has wowed across the water, topping the Billboard World Album Music Chart in the US.
Donna Taggart from Co Tyrone has shot straight to the top of the charts after one of her songs went viral online.
Her single ‘Jealous of The Angels’ has been viewed more than 28 million times after she posted it on her Facebook page in August.
The song sparked a huge online reaction prompting thousands of people to leave messages on her page.
Now, her album Celtic Lady Vol 2 is top of the Billboard World Album Music Chart in the US.
Meanwhile the single has reached No 1 in the iTunes USA Easy Listening Chart and also has risen to the top in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK.
In addition her song has become one of the Top 50 in the US download chart alongside Beyoncé and Adele.
Donna took to her Facebook page last week to thank her fans and well-wishers after the song’s incredible response, writing: “Hi everyone, a huge welcome to all of you who have recently joined my Facebook page from all around the world. Donna, who is a married mother of two, added that she was celebrating the global success of her video by having a: “lovely dinner with my wee babies and Hubby to celebrate!”
