Primeval star Andrew Lee Potts has revealed he loves all his fans. Even the crazies.
The actor, who was signing autographs and taking part in a series of talks this weekend at MCM Comic Con in Belfast, said the most memorable ones are the young fans.
He added: “I particularly like it when it’s the real youngies, you know the, we’ve had some super cute kids coming up and they just look really happy to see you and I really like that, it does make me smile a lot.
“But everybody’s been lovely, obviously there’s some crazies but in a good way but em yeah, everybody’s pretty cool and really respectful and you know proper fans so it’s just nice to give them something back and to meet and talk to them and see, you know what they think of the show and that.”
Andrew was joined at Comic Com by TV actresses Katrina Law, Hynden Welch and Jessie Wallace.
It was the 2nd MCM Belfast Comic Con convention in the city with last year’s show welcoming over 16,000 fans to the King’s Hall.
Actress Hynden is best known as the voice of Princess Bubblegum in cult animation show Adventure Time and Katrina, who plays Nyssa al Ghul in hit superhero series The Arrow signed autographs and took part in a series of talks.
Brunette beauty Katrina will be most recognisable as the skilled archer Nyssa, daughter of infamous League of Assassins leader Ra’s al Ghul in Arrow.
This year comic book fans, gamers and science fiction fanatics were also given the chance to meet Red Dwarf star Danny John-Jules.
Other actors who appeared at the event yesterday included EastEnders power couple Shane Richie (Alfie) and Jessie Wallace (Kat) who signed autographs alongside Australian star John Noble.
Andrew is best known for his role as the quirky Connor Temple on five seasons of hit sci-fi show Primeval, a role he reprised in spin-off series Primeval: New World.
