Fanfare, please! We’re delighted to announce a major coup for BELFASTVIBE having captured the services of former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson as a roving reporter.
Our timing couldn’t have been more perfect with his sacking from BBC coming days after BELFASTVIBE launched.
On his first assignment we sent him to Belfast docks to keep tabs on a ghostly, clanging noise coming from the slipway where Titanic was built.
Look at what he had to say…
Just to keep everyone up to date, I haven't heard a thing.

Likening the move to Manchester United’s signing of Radamel Falcao, Content Developer Graeme Cousins said: “We couldn’t believe it when we heard Clarkson was coming to join the team. We’d approached Jamie Dornan and Rory McIlroy in the first instance, to be honest Clarkson was 7th or 8th on our list, but it’s great news all the same.
“OK, so he’s combustible, but all the best reporters live life on the edge.
“Lunch times should be great fun from now on in.”
