Current Miss Belfast Sacha Livingstone is hoping she has what it takes to take the Miss Ireland crown later this month.

The CMPR model and show-stopping beauty from Hillsborough should have no problem competing against some of the most stunning models in Ireland.

The 20 year old English Literature student at the University of Ulster is clearly fun-loving, witty and intelligent as well as beautiful as her fabulous answers to our My Belfast questionnaire reveals…

Home is…

Home is where my cat is.

Tell us something your mum doesn’t know about you?

My mum doesn’t know that I borrow her handbags when she’s gone.

What would you do if you had the keys to the city for the day?

If I had the keys to the city I’d get everyone to bring food and drink gifts to the city hall and arrange a ‘help the vulnerable and lonely day’ to illustrate that many people care and are empathetic to the plight of others.

What’s the most interesting discovery you’ve made in Belfast?

An interesting fact I know about Belfast would be a USA aircraft crashed into the Cave Hill during WWII, crew killed. A wedding ring was found decades later and through arduous detective work, the widow was presented with it a few years back.

Which building would you most like to be locked in overnight?

Belfast Castle would be cool as it’s scary and that’d be hilarious with my friends.

Celebrity crush?

Tom Hardy.

Describe your perfect day in the city?

My perfect day in the city would be pretty chilled out . I’d go shopping with my friends, eat lunch at city hall and then maybe take a hike up CaveHill. I went there the other day with my best friend at sunset and it was beautiful!

Earliest Belfast memory?

I have a terrible memory from when I was a kid but it was most likely in Belfast Zoo, I remember being fascinated with the Tigers (they’re my favourite animal) but I couldn’t tell you how long ago that was!

What movie most closely resembles your life story and why?

“Clueless” – I’ve been referred to lead actress Alicia Silverstone from that movie many times! Hopefully it’s a good thing…

Belfast in 3 words : History, humorous & humble.
