Seeded at #15 in the sport Belfast’s Jonny Greer is a rising star on the rally scene.
Having inherited his love of rallying from his father he reckons it’s in his blood.
The service administrator by day added: “I grew up in a rallying culture. What attracted me to it is the adrenaline rush and the competitive nature of the sport.
“I’m really looking forward to rallying on home soil this weekend.
“I don’t have a particular competitor that I’m looking forward to going up against – pretty much them all.”
This year will be Jonny’s first season in a Citroen DS3 R5.
Being a Belfast boy we caught up with Jonny, 26, last night after the opening ceremony of the Discover Northern Ireland Circuit Of Ireland Rally at Belfast’s City Hall to find out a wee bit more about him:

What would you do if you had the keys to the city for the day?
“Turn the city in to one big rally stage!”
What’s the most interesting discovery you’ve made in Belfast?
“Definitely has to be the Belfast Giants!”
Which building would you most like to be locked in overnight?
“The titanic building is very cool. The view of Belfast is excellent.”
What is your earliest memory of Belfast?
“Going to Castle Court with my parents I think!”
