Jamie Dornan was fighting for his life in a makeshift hospital in East Belfast this week as filming got under way on series 3 of The Fall.
The derelict Orangefield High School is being used to film the scenes following the explosive finale to season 2 during which Dornan’s character Paul Spector was shot and looked to be on his way out as he lay in the arms of Detective Inspector Stella Gibson, played by Gillian Anderson.
As most people suspected Dornan’s character will be involved in at least the first episode of season 3, and probably all the rest, as the Holywood heart-throb is largely responsible for the show’s impressive viewing figures.
Schoolgirls at nearby Grosvenor Grammar School have been trying to get a peak at the Fifty Shades Of Grey star in the makeshift hospital at the derelict Orangefield High School while several mums picking up their kids from the adjoining primary school have offered to give him the kiss of life.
Fans of the show were teased with the follow Tweet as filming got started on December 2.

The Fall Series 3 is due to be screened in March 2016.
In the meantime I’m off to The Merchant to watch Gillian Anderson in the pool.
