If you were walking past Methody College this week, you might have been lucky enough to catch some mega Hollywood celebrity spottings…
On set on Thursday were A-list movie-stars Robert Pattinson, Charlie Hunnam, Sienna Miller and Angus Macfadyen from Ripper Street fame.
They came together mid-morning much to the highly excitable group of sneaky onlookers’ delight (which of course included Methody students and teachers peering out of classroom windows from above!)
Wednesday night saw massive vans and crew setting up in Methody College under the cover of darkness, prompting speculation this was a large-scale production team in action.
It seems onlookers were right, what with War of Z having been filming throughout Northern Ireland locations for the past few weeks, with numerous spottings of Robert Pattinson and Charlie Hunnam in particular, who have been snapped exploring Belfast together in what seems to be a heart-warming bromance.
With 150 extras taking part in the scenes on Thursday, a large group of men in Victorian costumes could be seen surrounded by old-fashioned vehicles filming scenes on the greenery outside the school.
Meanwhile, fans craning their necks all day were disappointed not to catch a glimpse of highly-lusted after after Brad Pitt.
Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kliener have joined forces to produce the movie version of David Grann’s best seller about legendary British explorer Percy Fawcett.
Fawvett ventured into the Amazon jungle in search of a mystical city in 1925, but never returned.
Despite wide-spread hysteria over Brad Pitt sightings in the past few weeks, which went into mega-drive when he was spotted earlier this week around the Queen’s area of Belfast, his busy schedule means he has had to return to LA.
But never fear, as insiders say his future presence in Northern Ireland again is highly anticipated. So you might well spot him yet!
What with the Methody location appearing to be packing up today for a new location, we can’t wait to see where they go next…
Keep your eyes peeled for any more celeb spottings and send us your photos – if you’re lucky enough to catch one in action!
