One of Belfast’s newest restaurants has launched a delicious breakfast menu.
Solo Kitchen & Bar, which has quickly gained a growing reputation for its modern contemporary cuisine with an eclectic mix, will now be serving hunger-busting breakfasts from 8am – 11.30am.
With its city centre location in Wellington Place the new menu is sure to attract workers on their way to work, as well as business people looking for somewhere new for breakfast meetings.
But with the extensive options available, we reckon students and those enjoying a leisurely day in town will also appreciate the Big Breakfast – which is basically a mega fry consisting of all the best comfort food. From soda and potato bread; two bacon; two sausage; black pudding; tomato; mushrooms; beans; and egg as you like it.
Other stand-out options include the delicious eggs which come as you like it with white or granary toast, to which you can add yummy extras including avocado, spinach, smoked salmon, mushrooms or tomato.
Lighter options include mouth-watering pancakes with choice of topping; from caramelized banana & blueberry, chocolate & crushed nuts, lemon & sugar, or pancetta & maple syrup.
Owner Michael Karan explained:
“Our experience is that it can be difficult to get a cooked breakfast in town first thing so we are hopeful this new move will be a success given our location in Wellington Place in the heart of the city.
“We have been investing a lot effort into our breakfast menu which includes a wide range of options from full Ulster Fries to lighter meals as well as both gluten free and vegetarian dishes.”
