Single men of Belfast – reveal yourselves!
Our favourite guilty-pleasure dating show is set to hit our screens again soon – and they’re looking for new recruits.
Last week, popular ITV show Take Me Out launched a campaign on their Facebook page searching for single Belfast men, it read:
“Single Boys of Belfast – reveal yourselves!
“Take Me Out is heading over to Northern Ireland very soon. If you are 18+, single and want to be on the show, apply now.
“Contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or hit us up on Facebook.
“Let the TICKETY see the BOO!”
Take Me Out, which is now approaching it’s ninth series, sees single boys attempt to impress 30 single girls hoping one of them will leave their light on for them – thus securing a date on the isle of Fernandos.
Hosted by the hilarious Paddy McGuinness (who can’t help but make fun of the majority of answers on the show), it’s safe to say the show doesn’t make it all smooth sailing for the boy – who has to undergo vigorous confessionals from his alleged best mates who reveal his most embarrassing secrets.
Either that, or he has to perform his alleged talent on stage – and we’re not sure which one’s worse.
For any locals thinking about applying – check out this clip of the most awkward man to ever appear on the show below – and literally do the opposite…
If you want to apply you may be facing some stiff competition – the Facebook post alone had amassed almost 1K Likes, over 500 Facebook shares – and an impressive 3K comments in just a few days.
