Belfast has won a place on the 80th anniversary Monopoly board. Let’s hope it’s not beside the Jail square.
For the first time Monopoly fans were invited to select their favourite cities and shape the latest edition of the board game, which will be available in the autumn.
Since February 13.4 million votes have been cast from 182 countries worldwide.
The new format of the game will see players collect passport stamps at each stop along their journey.
The other cities on the board are Lima, Hong Kong, Riga, Lisbon, Istanbul, Warsaw, Mexico City, Santiago, Athens, Belgrade, London, Tokyo, New York, Amsterdam, Sydney, Queenstown, Cape Town, Taipei, Giethoorn and Madrid.
