With just over a week to go until The Color Run returns to Belfast’s Titanic Quarter, hopeful participants are being encouraged to sign-up before it’s too late.

If the title of the ‘Happiest 5K On The Planet’ wasn’t encouragement enough, here are five reasons why you should take part on Sunday 30…

1. Have buckets of fun, whilst exercising

The Color Run Manchester 02

The Color Run is untimed so you can go at your own pace, have a giggle with friends, get covered in every colour of the rainbow. The Color Run is the perfect event for all ages and abilities – share the experience with friends, family and colleagues for an amazing day out.

2. Dance and sing like never before

The famous Festival Finish with awesome local radio DJs and The Color Run’s epic MCs brings a huge party atmosphere to help you celebrate at the end of your run. Dancing like crazy and singing at the top of your voice is an absolute must do!

3. It’s selfie central

You won’t take a better photo than you will at The Color Run. FACT! The kaleidoscopic colours make for unbelievable pictures, capturing a day you’ll never forget. The ultimate snaps come courtesy of the timed ‘Color Throws’ at the Festival. Finish, hold onto your colour packets and throw in unison to colour the skies.

4. Raise money for an amazing cause

NSPCC are the event’s official charity partner. You can support the children’s charity when you sign up by donating straight to the charity and make sure you visit their activation area and high five their amazing staff on the day.

5. Get covered in colour!

You may start dressed in white but there’s absolutely no way to stay squeaky clean, you’ll be head-to-toe in glorious colour at the end of the day. Plus, at the start line and in the Festival Finish The Color Run MCs will be hurling out incredible merchandise to ensure you look the part. Socks, tutus, sunglasses – the more colourful the better… you better get practicing your catching skills!

The event takes place at the Titanic Quarter on Sunday August 30. Registration is open at www.TheColorRun.co.uk. Event entries are priced at £26 for individuals and £24p/person for group bookings (There is a £4.99 cost for postage and packaging of entry pack).

Entries close on Monday August 24 so participants should hurry to secure their place. The Color Run Belfast 2015 is proudly supported by Original Source, Ocean Spray, the NSPCC and Cool FM.
