Tennent’s Vital gets underway on Saturday, with some of the world’s biggest artists heading to Belfast for two whole days of unmissable music.
It’s being dubbed as ‘the biggest entertainment event in Belfast for years’ by Tennent’s organisers, as fans are beginning to get desperate, clamouring for sold out Calvin Harris tickets in particular.
Fans are turning to social media to appeal those who sensibly bought their tickets well in advance, with one man even asking those with the ‘holy grail of tickets’ to, “name your price – I’ll pay anything!”
There will be two entrances to the Boucher Road Playing Fields in order to facilitate the crowds, rumoured to be as much as 40,000 for fully sold-out Saturday night, including from Boucher Road and towards the city centre (with a bridge being built especially!)
Box office opens at 1pm on both days while gates open at 4pm and the first acts takes to the stage at 4.45pm.
There will be plenty of food and Tennent’s at the event as well as top music – as belfastvibe saw at the exciting preview.

Limited tickets are still available for Sunday, August 30 – featuring The Script, Kodaline, Annie Mac, Clean Bandit and Jack Savoretti for £39.50 at ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets or by ringing 0844 847 2455.
