1. ODESZA – Sun Models (Feat. Madelyn Grant)
ODESZA’s latest album ‘In Return’ was a fantastic showcase of the unique sound they have with their melodic, pop-fusion style proving to be a hit. ‘Sun Models’ has the mashed up vocals of Madelyn Grant that act as a catchy melody and like other songs in the album keeps the signature ODESZA sound, hard to describe other than almost dreamlike. Worth a listen.
2. Dillon Francis & Kygo – Coming Over (Feat. James Hersey)
A stand out song in Francis’ new EP ‘This mixtape is fire’. This is an unusual collaboration given Kygo’s relaxed tropical house music is very different to the unique, energetic ‘Moombathon’ music of Dillon Francis. However the result is surprising as ‘Coming Over’ showcases Kygo’s signature sound with a laid back tone but with the added bass and bounce coming from Francis.
3. Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank – Shades of Grey (Ft. Delaney Jane)
The latest track from 20 year old Dutch DJ Oliver Heldens who has had a rapid rise over the past year with tracks such as ‘Gecko’ and ‘Koala’ putting him at the forefront of the future house sound. This latest track is already very popular in clubs across the world with the catchy vocals from Delaney Jane along with the future house elements making this a more commercial hit.
4. A-ha – Take on me (Kygo Remix)
Released exclusively on Apple music, the legendary A-Ha song gets the Kygo tropical treatment. A song made for summer, even a rain-filled Northern Irish one.
5. The Weeknd – Can’t Feel My Face (Martin Garrix Remix)
19 year old Dutch DJ hitmaker Garrix has released his latest track to his fans on SoundCloud, a remix of the massive Weeknd hit ‘Can’t Feel My Face.’ The remix has the sped-up vocals of the Weeknd and the bass line after the chorus keeps the moody tone of the original with a unique sound.
