We rely on Twitter for everything from being the first to get breaking news to discovering local and global trends, from keeping up to date with events to getting a laugh from our fave celebs.  Over time feeds can become a bit yawn and need a little revitalisation to keep things interesting. Every Friday we’ll suggest our top three Twitter accounts to pump up your feed and put some pow back into your Twitter experience.

Belfast Christmas Market

You might think it is too early to talk about Christmas but we are sorry to say that you’d be wrong. With Belfast’s Christmas market starting next week it’s time to get in the swing. Belfast’s Christmas Market is always a highlight of the city’s Christmas offering with delicious local produce as well as impressive crafts. Let us not forget the beautiful Santa’s Grotto that never fails takes us all back to our childhood and get us feeling all fuzzy and festive. The market will be back this year from November 14 with comps and more info on their Twitter from now.

Hospitality Ulster’s Pub of the Year Awards

Your local might just be the place to be in Belfast. With a host of new venues popping up in the city of late, we can only imagine that competition is rife. Next Wednesday (November 11) the Pub of the Year awards take place and the battle of the bars will be settled. With local Belfast bars nominated in various categories we can’t wait to see if some of our favourite haunts are awarded on the night. We’ll be tuning in live via Twitter from 7pm.
