Time has only strengthened the hold this iconic Alice In Wonderland story and its characters have on the modern fashion world – even 150 years after the original story was published.
The ‘Alice Look’ is sweeping the high street with vigour too, so we caught up with Katherin Farries, Personal Stylist at Victoria Square, to uncover the top 15 Alice-inspired outfits for 2015.
She said, “We have an incredible interactive ‘Discover Wonderland’ exhibition in Victoria Square this August and it got me thinking about all the pieces which pay homage to the fairy tale character with a modern day twist. Belfast is about to discover a new fashion icon in Alice.”
Blue is set to be one of the biggest Autumn / Winter colours, so if you play your cards right a timeless blue dress could be an investment to help you transition all the way from Summer to Winter.
Each one would make the ideal wedding guest dress too and could easily transition from day to night by simply swapping flats for heels and adding accessories.
From monochrome stripes, dramatic polka dots to angelic lace, check out our top 15 ways to get the Alice look in Belfast in a vast array of shades ranging from beautiful aqua, mesmerising turquoise, metallic silver-blue to attention-grabbing cobalt.
