Belfast is also leading the way is in the style bars category again with four out of the five shortlisted being in the city.

This year’s gala awards event will not only honour NI’s very best of the hospitality industry, but will also celebrate Licensed & Catering News Magazine’s 75th anniversary in a diamond-themed, sparkling evening.

The high-anticipated ceremony will take place at the iconic Europa Hotel in Belfast on June 5 and will gather together over 400 of the industry’s finest talents to celebrate another successful year of the local hospitality industry.

1. The Tara Lodge
Guest House of the Year and Hotel Manager of the Year
Located in the heart of Queen’s Quarter in Belfast, the Tara Lodge is up for two of the biggest LCN Awards this year. First as n establishment and then their well-respected general manager Nora Douds has also been nominated herself.

2. Europa Hotel
Hotel of the Year
Iconic and inherently part of Belfast, the Europa is a permanent fixture in the city’s hotel and hospitality industry. It is also the venue for 2015’s LCN Awards.

3. Stormont Hotel
Hotel of the Year
The Stormont Hotel will battle against its Hastings Hotel sister-hotel (the Europa) in the Hotel of the Year. The Stormont’s prime location on the outskirts of city centre but minutes from Belfast City Airport makes it a popular choice for its category.

Fish & Chip Shop of the Year
Fast, fresh and deliciously good- what more could you want from this Botanic Avenue based chippy? The Chip Company is in the running due to its strong social media following and stellar reviews making it a worthy contender for the coveted accolade.

5. The Fitzwilliam Hotel
Style Bar of the Year
Unsurprisingly the contemporary Fitzwilliam Hotel Bar is up for an award. The ultra-chic and modern design of the bar has been a long-favourite on the Belfast nightlife scene and with a detailed cocktail menu and champagne list, a great atmosphere is always guaranteed.
